Welcome
to Pre-Engineering at
Chattanooga State
Chattanooga State
Technical Community College, a comprehensive two-year institution was
established in 1965. The Pre-Engineering program offers an
associate of science degree for students wanting to transfer to a
university to complete their engineering degree requirements. By taking the appropriate courses
generally one can complete up to 64 semester hours of an engineering
degree at Chattanooga State prior to transferring to a university.
Both
day and evening courses
are available!
It is important that
the student work
closely with their advisor and the university to which they will
transfer. Because of the varied types of engineering programs
offered, the courses you take at Chattanooga State will depend upon
the university and program the student wishes to complete.
