University Transfer Program in Engineering Technology Management

Associate degrees in Engineering Technology will now transfer to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga into the B.S. Engineering Technology Management program in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Chattanooga State graduates who complete the A.A.S. degree in Engineering Technology can enter UTC as a junior and complete their B.S. degree.

The "2+2" program in Engineering Technology Management is designed to prepare engineering technicians for promotion into supervisory/management roles where a bachelors degree is required or desirable for advancement.  After transferring to UTC, students will take courses in the following areas:

• Industrial Engineering
• Engineering Economy
• Accounting
• Marketing
• Finance
• Management
• Mathematics
• Additional General Education required for a B.S. degree.
