We are pleased that you are considering a program in the engineering technology, pre-engineering, or industrial maintenance areas. This is an exciting time to be in a technology related program. Beginning in Fall 2008, we will be offering new concentrations in Design/Drafting Engineering Technology and Radiation Protection under the Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Technology degree program.  There are also new transfer and 2+2 programs.  Construction Management is now available through UT Chattanooga, and Surveying & Mapping Science is available through ETSU.  Additional new programs and concentrations are in development.

Our Mission:

The Engineering Technology Department strives to prepare graduates for technician level positions in regional companies and to be life-long learners; to identify the educational needs of specific companies then prepare and deliver the appropriate course materials; to prepare students in transfer programs for university/college transfer; and to provide an environment where professional development and growth of the department’s faculty and staff can occur.
