Accreditation

Many of the A.A.S. degree programs are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission/Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET) the national accrediting agency for engineering technology programs. The accredited A.A.S. Engineering Technology program includes concentrations in civil, mechanical, and manufacturing.  A new concentration in construction will be evaluated for initial accreditation in 2011.

Two concentrations under the A.A.S. Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology degree are also accredited by TAC/ABET. These accredited concentrations are in automated controls and computer systems. The full-time faculty has extensive experience in engineering, professional practice, research, and higher education. In addition, the college draws on the talents of adjunct faculty who are employed in professional capacities in a variety of industrial and governmental settings.
