Chattanooga State is a WorkKeys® service center licensed by ACT, Inc. WorkKeys® is a
national system of workplace skills measurement, to improve the overall quality of
America’s workplace, developed by american College Testing (ACT). This system is
used by many employers in the Chattanooga area and by companies across the country.
Our center is staffed with certified WorkKeys® profilers to assist you.

The WorkKeys ® system has three components:

1. Evaluate job requirements in key skill areas.

2. Measure an employee or potential employee’s skills in those needed areas

    to determine the fit between the person and the job.

3. Plan for focused training programs to improve workplace skills.

Did you score too low on your WorkKeys® tests in the areas of applied Mathematics, Reading for Information or Locating Information to get the job in the company of your choice? Using a self-guided workbook, study to achieve the levels you need. Tutors provide help in our math and reading labs.

KeyTrain TM

KeyTrainTM was designed to make it easy for effective WorkKeys‚ training. This computer-based system provides individual, self-guided lessons. Pre- and post-tests allow you to evaluate and practice before taking the actual WorkKeys‚ assessment. Lab time available by appointment. Total length ten 2 hr. sessions.
