Game Programming

This exciting concentration focuses on the programming side of the gaming industry. Students acquire the tools needed to work in gaming or a related industry such as military simulation or film. Programming skills focus on the C++ programming language using DirectX and OpenGL, and on scripting languages used in the game programming industry. In addition, techniques for Windows programming, mobile apps development and 3D tools are covered.

Students work on individual and team projects, with interaction between artists and programmers. Each student develops a portfolio of work that will showcase his or her skills to potential employers.
