Chattanooga State Community College Athletic Facilities
Chattanooga State Community College has some of the finest athletic facilities in the TJCCAA and for community colleges nationwide.
The gymnasium, with seating for over 2500 fans, is home of the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The gymnasium is located centrally on main campus and is contained within a larger building complex that includes weight rooms, training areas, locker rooms and team meeting rooms. It is presently undergoing a dramatic renovation that includes replacing the existing floor with a state-of-the-art, pristine surface that one would expect to see at a professional arena.
Both the baseball and softball fields are located on the immediate right of the main campus entrance. The fields together accommodate over 1300 fans; boast lush Bermuda outfields; are circled by old-growth trees; and include two-story press boxes, home and guest bullpens, batting tunnels and indoor training areas. The College is additionally undertaking an ambitious building project for a new field house to support its baseball and softball programs. The field house that is under construction will add new concession areas, new locker rooms, team meeting rooms, and other amenities within a handsome exterior and well-appointed interior.
