Lady Tiger basketball will have a new, but familiar face beginning in the 2008-2009 season.  Jay Price, Chattanooga State's men's coach for the past four seasons, will be heading both the men's and women's programs.  Enriched in deep tradition and renowned for winning championships, Lady Tiger basketball will indeed continue to flourish under Price's leadership.  With countless TJCCAA Region VII championships and a national tournament appearance in 2006, women's basketball also produces many top-quality four-year Division I prospects.  The 2007-2008 season was no exception as the Lady Tigers finished 21-8 and reached a national ranking of #15, while advancing all four Sophomores on to continue their careers at four-year institutions.
