Appeal of Academic Suspension
A student may appeal his/her academic suspension.
Suspension appeal forms, which include the procedures for an appeal,
are available in the Career Planning and Counseling Center.
Appeals hearings are usually held the first day of registration each
semester. Students should ask about suspension appeals as
early as possible.
If an appeal is granted, the student will be eligible to enroll
that semester in post-suspension probation status and must meet the
conditions set by the appeals committee. If the conditions are
not met, the student will be suspended for twelve months.
Students may not appeal during this twelve-month suspension.
