Early Childhood Education
Dalton State Transfer Agreement
Chattanooga State has recently completed a transfer agreement with the
education department at Dalton State College in Dalton, GA. The agreement
benefits students that wish to pursue Pre-K – 5 teaching certification.
After completing two years at Chattanooga State, students can transfer to
Dalton State to complete a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. The
agreement is especially beneficial to students in Bradley and Hamilton
Counties because residents of these counties pay in-state tuition rates at
Dalton State. Dalton State offers additional course work that can lead to an
ESOL endorsement or middle school certification.
