Chattanooga State West is a satellite campus located in Kimball, TN. In 2005, Dorothy Lochridge began teaching English full time at the West campus. A poet herself, she also teaches creative writing classes. To showcase the work of students at Kimball, she worked with students in the spring of 2006 to publish a local version of the Phoenix, Phoenix West. The 2006-2007 issue of the Phoenix contains a sampling of the work published in that edition of the Phoenix West.
