Mark Cox
Cox directs the writing programs at UNC-Wilmington and Vermont College. Recipient of a Whiting Writers Award, a Pushcart Prize, and of several fellowships, Cox has published poems in such magazines as Poetry, The American Poetry Review, Crazyhorse, and others. Godine published Smoulder, his first full-length collection, in 1989. His book Thirty-Seven Years From the Stone was published in the Pitt Poetry Series in 1998.
