Anne Neelon


A native of Boston, Neelon has her MFA from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her poems have appeared in various magazines, including American Poetry Review, Ironwood, Poetry East, and Gettysburg Review, and her first book, Easter Vigil, won the Anhinga Press Prize in 1995. She has been a Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford University. She lives with her husband and son in western Kentucky, where she is an assistant professor of English at Murray State University.
