Dr. Jim Barrott

We are delighted you have expressed an interest in one of our programs in Chattanooga State’s Tennessee Technology Center Division. In the past two years, over 97% of our program graduates were employed in jobs related to their diploma. This is because the students “learn by doing” in these programs. The majority of the class day is spent working on real projects much like the job assignments the students will receive when they become employees. In fact, companies looking for new employees come to Chattanooga State’s Tennessee Technology Division because they can be sure that its graduates are immediately ready to be superior employees. The majority of the programs are designed to be completed in one year. Students completing specified Tennessee Technology Center diploma programs may complete an additional year of related college courses to receive the Applied Technology Degree.

Fees to attend the Tennessee Technology Center Division at Chattanooga State are among the lowest charged by any public college or university in the state of Tennessee and non-residents can attend the Tennessee Technology Center Division for the same low fees as Tennessee residents.
