The Internet provides access to a variety of reference and search tools from dictionaries, encyclopedias, and search engines to more specialized reference works and research tools.

Your first source for reference and search tools is the Chattanooga State Augusta R. Kolwyck Library. The Reference page has links to dictionaries; thesauri; local, state, regional, and national news services; area schools, libraries, and local and state government resources; and other helpful aids. The Research page provides students access to the electronic databases the school subscribes to, Research Guides, Assigment Guides, and help with citing sources in MLA and APA.
