Center for Leadership and Human Performance
About The Center…
Chattanooga State’s Center for Leadership and Human Performance
recognizes the need for leaders of vision, confidence and determination
is increasing rapidly and offers a series of seminars for leadership
development.
Faced with escalating turbulence in their business environment,
organizations are focusing more on leadership than ever before. The
development of future leaders creates a distinct competitive advantage.
In a recent survey of organizations conducted by Training magazine,
leadership was listed as the top priority in 2004.
The primary function of leadership is to establish a vision and develop
strategies that will move others toward that vision. Through
communication and motivation, leaders must influence followers to work
toward a common goal and energize them to overcome obstacles they will
occur along the way.
Through the Center for Leadership and Human Performance we envision
offering seminars, conferences and strategic initiatives related to
Leadership, Leadership through Human Resources, Leadership through
Professional Development, and Leadership through Performance
Improvement.
