Cancellations
and Refunds
To cancel your registration, please notify us by phone at 697- 3100 or in
writing addressed to Chattanooga State, 535 Chestnut St. Chattanooga, TN
37402 at least 48 hours prior to the beginning of the course. No refunds
will be issued after the course begins. Persons enrolled in a noncredit
course which is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, or at the
discretion of Chattanooga State, will receive a full refund of their
registration fee. We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or combine
classes, limit registration, change instructors, or make any other changes
deemed necessary.
Weather Statement
Should it become necessary to cancel classes due to inclement weather or
other emergencies, announcements will be made through local radio and
television stations.
Senior Citizen
Discount
Individuals ages 60 and older are entitled to a 20% discount on all
Continuing Education classes.
Parking
Chattanooga State will pay for parking if:
- Day students attending
Downtown classes from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. use the Chestnut Corporate
Center parking garage located behind the Clarion Hotel at 4th and
Chestnut Street. Students must obtain parking stickers from the
Continuing Education front desk in order to exit the garage.
- Evening students
attending Downtown classes beginning at 5:30 p.m. or later, park at
the Republic Center parking garage located at 6th and Chestnut Street
(directly behind the 535 Chestnut Street building). Upon entering
garage, students will take a parking card from the attendant and
complete information requested on card before parking. Please request
a parking card from the front desk for your next class to expedite
parking for the remainder of classes.
Special
accommodations
Individuals who require assistance under the american with Disabilities
act for participation in any program, service or activity of Continuing
Education Department should call 697-3100 for specific accommodations and
should be requested 5 to 10 working days in advance of the first class.
