Athletic Director
Steve Jaecks brings 24 years of teaching,
sports directing and coaching experience to the Athletic Department. In
his eighth year at Chattanooga
State, Jaecks is well respected for his ability to interact with
students and faculty, specifically in athletics, academic advisement,
strategic planning, physical education, strength/conditioning and
wellness.
Jaecks graduated from Loma Linda University in 1980 with a bachelor’s
degree in Physical Education and he earned a master’s degree in
Education form the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1982.
Highly organized, Jaecks also teaches in the Physical Education
department and serves on a variety of college committees.
Jaecks wife, Carmen, coordinates the Information Systems help desk at
Southern Adventist University.
